Corn Meal Biscuits: Date Added: 9 Jun 2009

Ingredients

1-1/2 cups flour
3/4 cup corn meal
1 tablespoon butter
3 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons sugar
1/2 cup milk

Cooking Instructions

Combine all ingredients but the milk. Then add the milk, using enough to make a soft dough. Toss on board lightly, roll and cut in rounds. Brush with melted butter and fold over like Parker House Rolls. Bake in a hot oven. Time in oven, 30 minutes. Temperature, 400°.
