Ingredients

2 cups flour
3 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons shortening
2 eggs
1/3 cup milk

Cooking Instructions

Sift dry ingredients together, rub in the shortening, and add eggs well beaten and mixed with milk. Roll out three-fourths inch thick, and dust with cinnamon and sugar. Cut in squares or triangles. Bake in a hot oven. Time in baking, 20 minutes. Temperature, 450°. 15 scones.
