1/2 cup corn meal
1/2 cup graham flour
1 cup white flour
2 teaspoons soda
Pinch salt
1 cup raisins, prunes, or nuts
1/2 cup molasses
1-1/2 cups sour milk
Sift together the dry ingredients. Add fruit or nuts, molasses, and sour milk. Turn into a greased bread pan and let stand one hour. Bake in a moderate oven. Turn bread and pan upside down and leave until cool. This makes the bread very moist.
Time in baking, 1 hour. Temperature, 325°. 1 loaf.
