1/4 pound smoked dried beef
1-1/2 cups sweet milk
6 tablespoons flour
1 tablespoon butter
Pour boiling water over the beef and let stand five minutes. Mix milk and flour and cook three minutes. Add butter, and dried beef, and cook ten minutes. Cut slice from top of popovers and fill with the creamed beef. Place a dot of butter on top and dust lightly with paprika. Servings, 6
