2-1/2 cups maple syrup
1/4 cup marshmallow cream
Boil syrup until it forms a firm ball when tried in cold water. Remove from fire and allow it to cool, add marsh-mallow and beat until creamy and almost) stiff. Drop by teaŽspoons on waxed paper. If the mixture hardens before all the bonbons are out melt over the fire, stirring all the time, until soft enough to drop and yet hold its shape.
