2 egg whites
1 cup sugar
3 cups cornflakes
1 cup nut meats
Beat egg whites and add, gradually, the sugar, cornflakes, and nut meats. Mix well. Drop by spoonfuls on to greased paper. Bake until light brown in a moderate oven. When taken from oven, if paper is slipped on to a wet towel, the cookies can be removed easily.
Time in baking, 25 minutes. Temperature, 325°. 3-1/2 dozen cookies.
