4 egg yolks
4 teaspoons sugar
4 tablespoons heavy cream
Flour
Mix egg yolks, sugar, and cream. Add enough flour to make a stiff dough. Roll very thin and cut in strips two inches wide and six inches long. Cut a slit in each one and draw one end through. Fry in deep fat. Drain on absorbent paper. Sprinkle with sugar.
Time in cooking, 2 minutes each. Temperature, 370°. 12 12 crullers.
