Cocoanut Date Filling: Date Added: 9 Jun 2009

3 tablespoons cocoanut
1/2 cup water
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 cup dates, ground
3 tablespoons orange juice
3 tablespoons sugar
1-1/2 teaspoons vanilla

Cooking Instructions

Mix ingredients, and cook slowly together until thick enough to spread between cakes. Remove from fire. Cool, and add vanilla.
