Ingredients

1 cup milk
1 tablespoon butter
2 tablespoons flour
2 tablespoons sugar
Speck salt
1 egg
1/4 teaspoon vanilla

Cooking Instructions

Heat milk. Cream butter, mix with flour, and add milk. Cook ten minutes. Add sugar, salt, and slightly beaten egg. Cook in double boiler until thick. Cool, and add vanilla.
