Ingredients

1/2 pound figs
1 cup water
1 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla

Cooking Instructions

Chop the figs fine, and boil them in the water until tender. Add sugar, and cook in a double boiler until smooth and thick. Remove from heat and add vanilla. Cool before using.
