Ingredients

1 cup grated cocoanut
2 cups sugar
2 cups water
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup cornstarch
1/3 cup lemon juice

Cooking Instructions

Cook cocoanut, sugar, water, salt, and cornstarch for forty-five minutes in double boiler. Add lemon juice and spread while hot between layers of cake.
