Ingredients

3 egg yolks
2 lemons (juice and grated rind)
1/2 cup butter
1 cup sugar

Cooking Instructions

Beat egg yolks until thick, add other ingredients, and cook in a double boiler, stirring constantly, until mixture is thick and smooth. Cool before spreading on cake.
