2 cups salmon
1 cup bread crumbs
Salt, pepper
2 tablespoons butter
1 Bermuda onion
1-1/2 cups white sauce (medium)
2 eggs
Into a buttered baking dish put alternate layers of flaked, canned salmon, crumbs, and seasonings. Dot butter over the top layer, which should be of crumbs. If the dish is a glass one, put slices of the onion down on the sides at regular intervals for garnish. If not, slice and put in with the crumbs and salmon. Over all pour the white sauce and bake in a moderately hot oven. Garnish with sliced, hard-cooked eggs. Time in oven, 20 minutes. Temperature, 375°. Servings, 4
