1 cup confectioners' sugar
Few drops lemon juice
Add one-third cup of the sugar to the egg white and beat with a fork until thoroughly blended. Add a few drops of lemon juice and another third cup of sugar. Blend thoroughly. Add rest of sugar and beat until stiff enough to hold its shape. Long beating is required. Have cake iced with a plain uncooked icing and apply ornamental icing with a pastry tube.
