Ingredients

1 teaspoon ground ginger
1 teaspoon cinnamon
Dash nutmeg
3 cups sugar
2 quarts fresh currants

Cooking Instructions

Add the ground ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg and sugar to the fresh currants. Cook fifteen minutes, strain and cool. Serve one part juice to three of water over cracked ice. Makes 1-1/2 quarts.
