Pears Baked in Maple Syrup: Date Added: 11 Aug 2009

Ingredients

6 large cooking pears
3/4 cup maple syrup
1 tablespoon lemon juice

Cooking Instructions

Peel the pears, cut in halves and remove cores. Arrange in a baking dish and pour over them the maple syrup to which the lemon juice has been added. Cover the dish and bake in a slow oven. Time in baking, 4: hours. Temperature, 275°.
