Chocolate Gingerbread: Date Added: 12 Jun 2009

1/2 cup sour milk
1 cup molasses
1 teaspoon ginger
1/2 teaspoon mace
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon salt
1-1/2 teaspoons soda
2 cups flour
4 tablespoons grated chocolate
1/2 cup seeded raisins

Cooking Instructions

Mix liquids. Combine all other ingredients. Then add liquid. Pour mixture in greased and floured cake tin and bake in a moderate oven. Time in oven, 45 minutes. Temperature, 350°. Servings, 10
