1 cup flour
1-1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon sugar
1 egg, separated
1 cup milk
2 teaspoons melted butter
Mix and sift dry ingredients. Add egg yolk well beaten, milk, and melted butter. Fold in beaten egg whites. Cook on hot griddle.
