Plum Ice Cream: Date Added: 27 Dec 2009

Ingredients

2-1/2 cups canned plums
Water
1 cup sugar
Few grains salt
1 cup cream

Cooking Instructions

Drain syrup from plums, add water to make three cups and cook five minutes with the sugar. Add salt and plums cut in pieces. Cool and freeze to a mush. Add cream beaten stiff and finish freezing. Let stand to ripen before serving.
Recipe makes eight servings.
