1/2 tablespoon gelatine
2 tablespoons cold water
1/2 cup boiling water
3/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup orange juice
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 cup cream
Soften the gelatine in cold water and dissolve in boiling water. Add the sugar and fruit juices and cool the mixture until it begins to thicken. Fold in the cream which has been whipped until stiff. Turn into a mold, pack in ice and salt, and let stand three hours. Serve with a strawberry sauce made from fresh strawberries, crushed and sweetened. Serves 4.
