Cooking Instructions

Roll rich pastry about a quarter of an inch in thickness, spread lightly with softened butter, and sprinkle with grated cheese. Fold over and roll out again. Repeat the process, cut the pastry in strips about four inches long and a third of an inch wide, and bake in a hot oven until delicately browned. Time in baking, 10 minutes. Temperature, 450°.
