1 quart strawberries
3/4 cup sugar
1 tablespoon gelatine
1/4 cup boiling water
1/4 cup cold water
Baked pastry shells
Cut strawberries in pieces, add sugar and let stand at least an hour. Soften gelatine in cold water, dissolve in boiling water and add to berries. Let stand until partially thickened. Pile in individual tart shells and let stand until firm. Garnish with whipped cream. 8 tarts.
