1/2 pound sausage meat
2 tablespoons finely chopped parsley

Pinch ground clove
1/2 teaspoon chili powder
1-1/2 teaspoons salt
Speck cayenne
1 quart water
1/2 cup rice
Cook pork and onions in frying-pan until brown. Add ham, sausage meat, and seasonings. Cook slowly until browned. Add water and well-washed rice, and cook until rice is soft, stirring frequently. Servings, 6
