Eggless Salad Dressing: Date Added: 9 Jun 2009

2/3 cup vinegar
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup sugar
1 tablespoon butter
1 tablespoon flour
1/2 teaspoon white pepper
1 teaspoon mustard
1 teaspoon salt

Cooking Instructions

Mix all ingredients and cook over fire until thick. When using, add two tablespoons of dressing to one-half cup of sweet cream. Or it may all be mixed with slightly sour cream, and sealed in small jars.
