Baked French Toast: Date Added: 9 Jun 2009

3 cups milk
2 eggs
1/8 teaspoon salt
6 slices stale bread, cut rather thick

Cooking Instructions

Beat milk, eggs, and salt together. Dip each slice of bread in mixture and place in a greased baking dish. Pour the reŽmaining custard mixture over the bread. Bake in a moderate oven until lightly browned on top. Dot with bits of butter and serve hot.
